This is the first time in a long time that I am really excited for the Microsoft UI Automation platform. It has been too long for my liking, but I am more excited than ever to use it and see how it will impact the way I work.
For the past few years, I’ve been working with the new Visual Studio UI Automation features that allow us to write scripts within the IDE that will run on Windows, as well as any other platform. For instance, we can execute scripts on the server and see the results in our Visual Studio IntelliSense. It’s really cool, and it makes writing and debugging a whole lot easier.
