A lot of the people I know who have ever worked in the industry know that automation is one of the biggest challenges facing new and existing construction workers. There are some things you can do to make sure you see the best of the day, even if you don’t know the specifics to do the rest. Automation is especially helpful if you are dealing with large numbers of workers. When you have many people working on this project, you can make sure that they are working on the exact same thing. I know for a fact that I can tell when someone is working on something related to another problem. For instance, when I need to get a certain part out of a certain machine, I can just start that part from the beginning and only worry about the next piece once it is done.
Of course, this is not the same thing as automation. We are talking about automation here, which is not about a process that involves a human. The term is a bit of a misnomer, because while an individual machine can be made to do a specific task, you cannot automate that task.
